If you're still holding out hope that CM Punk could show up at WWE Survivor Series in Chicago, the former AEW star isn't spoiling the party for you.

Punk happened to join WSCR 670 The Score out of the Windy City and was asked about the possibilty of returning to WWE in a big way at their Survivor Series PLE in his backyard this late November. Punk neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of him showing up but did act like if he were to go, he'd have to purchase a ticket like everybody else.

“They’re asking if I’m going to be there? I think it’s sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.”

Punk then went on to say that he's really been up to nothing special since being "terminated with cause" by Tony Khan and AEW.

"I don't want to burst anybody's bubble. I'm kind of just sitting at home and enjoying this beautiful Chicago weather.

"I have an injury in the family. My dog blew his dog ACL. I'm literally just spending my time with him. I know that sounds crazy, but he is my son, and I take care of him and treat him as such."

Following his firing, the buzz blew up about the possibily of Punk coming back to WWE, but reports eventually turned to the side that Punk and WWE weren't having active conversations.

That certainly hasn't lightened of what Punk's next pro wrestling move may be as he was recently backstage at IMPACT Tapings following Bound For Glory, but the company didn't want fans to think he was going to appear.
