Big E has provided another (minor) update on his health, but there's no big positive developments to celebrate at this time.

The former WWE Champion suffered a C1 and C6 vertebrae fracture on the March 11, 2022 edition of WWE SmackDown. He was in New York City on Thursday for a live in-studio appearance on Busted Open Radio.

During his conversation with hosts Dave LaGreca, Tommy Dreamer and Andreas Hale, Big E said there is still no timeline for him to get back in the ring.

Big E is extremely grateful that he is able to live a 'normal' life without any pain. He had an incredible WWE career and achieved enough that he could walk away feeling like he accomplished what he set out to do. There's still no guarantee that he'll be medically cleared to wrestle again, but it sounds like he is at peace with this reality.

As he's kept fans apprised of his condition, Big E has long spoken about a big 'one-year checkup' where doctors would provide him a meaningful assessment. That big checkup still hasn't take place and won't happen for several more months.

Big is now scheduled to undergo an extensive evaluation in early April 2024, after WrestleMania 40. At that stage, he'll have a better idea of where things stand.
