IYO SKY will be leaving Riyadh, Saudi Arabia still the WWE Women's Champion, and the Damage CTRL member has Kairi Sane to thank.

At WWE Crown Jewel, SKY defended her championship against Bianca Belair, the same woman SKY won the title from by cashing in Money in the Bank at SummerSlam. While both women were on the outside, Sane made her return by attacking Belair, who almost didn't make the referee's 10-count. While Belair was able to get back in the ring in time, she immediately received a moonsault by SKY to end the match.

After the match, SKY and Sane continued the beatdown on Belair, with Sane delivering a top-rope elbow on the EST while a confused Bayley watched on. Sane and SKY celebrated after the match.

Sane was offered a WWE contract in 2016 and would officially sign with the promotion in March the following year. During the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble match, Sane entered at #6, becoming the first female NXT Superstar to compete in a Rumble match. That same year, Sane would win the Mae Young Classic and the NXT Women's Championship.

After being called to the main roster in 2019, Sane would become a WWE Women's Tag Team Champion (with Asuka.) In 2020, Sane requested to be removed from TV so that she could return to her native Japan. Sane was written off of TV with an attack by Bayley & Sasha Banks. After serving as an ambassador for WWE in Japan, Sane left the promotion entirely the following year.
