The professional wrestling world is in shock following the surprise return of CM Punk to WWE in the closing moments of Survivor Series 2023.

In the main event of the show, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn defeated the Judgment Day & Drew McIntyre inside WarGames. After the main event, Punk returned to his Cult of Personality theme song, earning a massive ovation from the crowd in Chicago.

CM Punk's return to WWE comes close to a decade after he walked out of the promotion following the 2014 Royal Rumble pay-per-view, so it's hardly a surprise that his comeback has had the world talking. On Twitter, WWE CCO Triple H shared a photo with Punk and made it clear that hell has frozen over.
