Plenty went down during this week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw which proved to be a monumental post-Survivor Series episode.

Randy Orton made his return to Raw on this week's episode, and it won't be long before fans see him again. The 14-time WWE World Champion is now advertised for this Friday's WWE SmackDown in Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center. With Orton setting his sights on every member of The Bloodline, fans can expect to see more of the Viper on both main roster brands in the weeks ahead.

Speaking of Orton, the Viper did not come to this week's Raw alone. His wife Kim was at ringside for the show. Kim has not appeared on WWE programming as a character but hosted the Wives of Wrestling podcast (with Kurt Angle's wife Giovanna) in 2022.

While the Ortons had fun at Raw, one notable name was missing from the show. Despite the high-profile nature of the show, Triple H was not in attendance backstage, according to PW Insider. The Game was at last Saturday's Survivor Series and personally oversaw the production of CM Punk's return.

CM Punk made quite the impression on last night's Raw, in which he said he was there to make money, not friends. While some have seen this as a nod to AEW and his friendship with Tony Khan, Haus of Wrestling reports that Punk has no intentions of addressing what happened in AEW.

Punk's promo was originally supposed to be much longer than planned. PW Insider reports that because the Randy Orton vs. Dominik Mysterio match went long, Punk's promo was cut short.

WWE NXT will host its Deadline event next weekend, but the next major show after that is already in the works. WWE has confirmed that NXT Vengeance Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2024, from Clarksville, TN at the &M Bank Arena.
