Ken Shamrock has new merchandise at WWE Shop. This indicates he's signed a legends deal, but may also signal that the World's Most Dangerous Man could be Hall of Fame bound.

Shamrock, a member of the UFC Hall of Fame's inaugural class (2003), had a legendary MMA career before transitioning to WWE. Shamrock was a pioneer in WWE on several fronts.

Long before the UFC is the juggernaut it is today, very few pro wrestling fans had seen the ankle lock submission or knew what 'tapping out' is. Shamrock wrestled for WWE from 1997-1999 - prime Attitude Era. He brought a level of intensity that we've only seen from the likes of Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle.

Shamrock won the 1998 King of the Ring tournament and held the Intercontinental and tag championships. He'd later wrestle for TNA Wrestling, where he held the NWA Heavyweight Championship and was later inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame (2020).

Shamrock has appeared in various WWE video games over the years, but has not been 'recognized' the same way other legends have been.

On Tuesday, WWE Shop rolled out new Ken Shamrock merchandise:

The new merchandise may simply be related to Shamrock signing a new legends deal. However, wrestling fans on social media are hoping this will lead to Shamrock getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 40 weekend from Philadelphia.

There Shamrock's credentials are well-documented, so few would argue that he's undeserving of this honor. Unfortunately, there are a lot of deserving legends who are not included due to having strained relationships with the company.
