Randy Orton returned to WWE at Survivor Series, bringing back his old theme song. WWE fans get very attached to entrance music, especially songs with the kind of longevity that Orton's music possesses. Despite that fact, WWE still considered a change.

Although WWE did consider a change in Randy Orton's music, they are not going that direction. This will probably make a lot of fans who hate change very happy.

Fightful Select reports that a new theme song for Randy Orton was tested, but the plans for changes in his entrance were subsequently abandoned. At this point, it doesn't appear that Randy Orton will get new entrance music.

"Fightful’s Corey Brennan has learned that with the Randy Orton theme song, they did one play through live in the arena and decided to scrap it."

A revamped version of Randy Orton's "Voices" song was dropped in June, during the midst of his WWE hiatus. That was apparently not the version of the song that WWE was considering.

The original plan was for Randy Orton to debut with his old music, out of familiarity. Then they would transition into a new song. It appears that transition has been nixed.

Randy Orton inked an exclusive contract with the SmackDown brand upon his WWE return. He will continue with the blue brand from this point on, where he has made it very clear that he wants a shot at Roman Reigns' Undisputed Universal Title.
