Kevin Patrick was just moved onto the SmackDown announce team a short time ago. That tenure did not last long, and now the Irish announcer is off that show.

I broke the news that Kevin Patrick is off the SmackDown announce team. Now, we know who will fill in for that role, if only in a temporary status.

Kevin Patrick was part of the WWE SmackDown commentary team alongside Corey Graves. This change for the blue brand will come into effect starting this week.

PW Insider reports that Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be the new two-man team for SmackDown, but this might not be a long-term solution. The future of this change remains uncertain, leaving us to question whether it will be a long-term or short-term adjustment.

"Sources are telling PWInsiderElite.com that Michael Cole will call Smackdown on Friday, which makes sense since he will be in town for The Royal Rumble anyway. So, it will be Cole and Corey Graves."

Kevin Patrick was on Raw from October 2022 before transitioning to Smackdown in 2023. Now, he is no longer on the blue brand. I reported last night that Patrick was removed from SmackDown.

At this time, it is unknown if Kevin Patrick will take on a different role within WWE. He will no longer be heard on SmackDown.
