We have an update on former WWE star Billy Jack Haynes regarding a fatal shooting that took place earlier this month.

Haynes was apprehended after cops were called to his home in the Lents neighborhood of Portland. Following the gunfire, authorities were called and Haynes "eventually came out" of the house. He was taken into custody following a prolonged confrontation with the offices.

Two hours later, Haynes was moved to prison. Everybody in his area was instructed to remain inside their homes throughout the standoff. In later reports, it was stated that Janette Becraft, Billy Jack Haynes' wife, was found dead. It was allegedly from a shooting.

However, the identities of those involved remained undisclosed in the original reports. Previously, reports stated that Haynes would face murder charges, but would be brought as soon as he was discharged from the hospital.

PW Insider reported that Billy Jack Haynes was released from the hospital on February 28 and was immediately arrested and charged with Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon concerning the death of his wife in Portland, Oregon several weeks ago.

Haynes is currently being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center. He had not been charged or brought into custody as he was hospitalized after being taken into custody for a medical issue not related to his arrest.

Haynes had been a popular talent in the Portland area and had wrestled for the WWF/E in the late 1980s. He also appeared in World Class Championship Wrestling in Florida and WCW (under the name Black Blood). Jim Crockett Promotions, New Japan, and other territories among the various promotions.

Haynes parted ways with the WWF at the beginning of 1988 amid some controversy. Haynes is said to have left the WWF after turning down to job in Portland, Oregon, his hometown. According to another angle, he wrestled the match and agreed to the outcome, but he was fired later.

This is a developing situation and we will keep you updated when more details emerge.
