It's still unclear as to when Braun Strowman will compete again, but there is some good news for the Monster Among Men.

It was in June of last year that Strowman underwent neck fusion surgery which has kept the former Universal Champion out of action ever since. That same month, Strowman admitted he had been struggling to be away from the ring saying that the situation was hard for him mentally as well as physically. While Strowman teased returning as part of the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble match, that did not transpire.

During a recent Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Strowman's situation. Sapp was pleased to state that Strowman is doing better than one would anticipate for the SmackDown Superstar.

“Someone in January implied that he would be back soon and I was thinking 'surely not' but then I followed up and was told that “he’s doing way better than anticipated.”

While Strowman hasn't competed in close to a year, the Monster Among Men has been active outside of the ring, Strowman, among other Superstars, got tattoos in memory of Bray Wyatt in August of last year, in memory of the late wrestler who died aged 36.

More recently, Strowman surprised fans at the WWE Experience in Saudi Arabia. On social media, Strowman expressed gratitude to participate at the Riyadh event and said he was honored to make the trip.
