WWE saw a huge change when Vince McMahon stepped down following a lawsuit that exposed allegations of heinous acts. The company didn't waste time in preparing an updated internal policy.

A copy of WWE's workplace relationship policy was just released. The policy prohibits employees from holding any supervisory role over someone with whom they have had or currently have a consensual relationship, especially focusing on executives like the CEO, President, CFO, and others.

POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomics has now reported that WWE sent out a memo about workplace relationships. They obtained, and published a three-page copy of the policy.

In June 2023, WWE introduced a policy regarding sexual or romantic relationships in the workplace, following reports of alleged sexual misconduct involving former Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

The policy states that an employee is prohibited from having any instructional, evaluative, or supervisory role over a person with whom they have had or currently have a consensual relationship. It includes specific guidelines concerning relationships with top executives such as WWE Board Members or members of the executive team, including the CEO, President, CFO, Chief Content Officer, Chief Legal Officer, or Chief Human Resources Officer.

Vince McMahon resigned from his position in WWE after the allegations in Janel Grant's lawsuit went public. He was advised by TKO CEO Ari Emanuel and TKO President and COO Mark Shapiro to resign after Slim Jim pulled their sponsorship just before the 2024 Royal Rumble event. They returned to sponsor the show after Mr. McMahon stepped down.

The allegations in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon highlighted a culture that they certainly do not want to continue. TKO Holdings Group is not going to allow such behavior, as they have exhibited with Brock Lesnar's continued absence from WWE television.
