Before RAW: After Lillian finishes up the National Anthem, she then announces the announce team. King comes out first, followed by Joey Styles who doesn't do his suicide sprint down to the table. Coach comes out last and when he gets to the table he discovers that while Joey and King have office chairs, he has a steel chair to sit it. King laughs and says that Joey must have redecorated. Coach refuses to sit in such a plain chair and Joey tells him that he can just stand.

During Commercial: Val Venis and Viscera come out together to Val's music and Titantron and Vis' small and side screens. Several shots of women in the audience yelling with excitement are shown as Val gets on the turnbuckle and whips his towel off.

During Commercial: WWE 24/7 presents: This Day in WWE History. On February 27, 2000 at No Way Out, Kurt Angle defeated Chris Jericho to win the Intercontinental Championship and become a double champion as he was already the European Champion. This week the segment was narrated dramatically like in a history documentary.

During Commercial: Trevor Murdoch's music hits and he comes out spitting into a tobacco cup. He gives the referee his cup and poses on the turnbuckle. He takes the mic and says who he is. He says he's here to tell us a story about him qualifying for the money in the bank ladder match. He says he's got that money face and that money look and then puckers his lip out. He tells the people to shut their mouths before he comes out and slaps the taste out of their mouths. He tells Washington if they had any respect they would cheer him, since he is the next money in the bank winner. He tells us to think about that.

During Commercial: Mickie James' music hits and she bounces out to the ring. She bobs her head when posing on the turnbuckle and ends up losing her bead necklaces. She gets on the mic and says that Washington is lucky since they not only get to see Trish, they get to see her defend the title. Not only is Trish the most dominant and most beautiful woman in the WWE, she's the greatest woman in the entire universe. She loudly proclaims that we should give it up for Trish Stratus. She bounces around a little more as the match is about to start.

During Commercial: Torrie runs after Candace and tells her that she forgot her wand. Candace tries to leave but Torrie pulls her back and asks if she's mad at her. She apologizes and says she was just trying to help but the ref saw her pulling her hands. She says it can't be that bad since next week Candace will reveal her Playboy cover. Candace then strikes Torrie hard in the face, which gets a rise out of the crowd. Torrie looks hurt as Candace storms off.

During Commercial: Joined in progress, we hear John Cena say "...opponent at Wrestlemania 22." He then says that right here in Washington, "Let's see if I'm worthy to be the Game's partner at Saturday Night's Main Event." Cena takes off his shirt and the belt and stands ready to go. Triple H takes off his jacket, only to sling it over his shoulder and casually walk out. He smiles as he goes up the entryway and Cena holds up the belt and points to the Wrestlemania 22 sign. Cena's music plays and he slides out of the ring.

During Commercial: Maria comes out for the kiss cam. She says that since they are in the capitol city, she expects to see some capitol sized kisses. One couple really got into it and Maria thought he was eating her. Two guys wouldn't do it and then one couple was already making out when the camera got on them. People kept putting their hands and signs in front of the camera and Maria kept telling them to put the signs down.

During Commercial: Carlito gets on the mic and says that he feels right at home here in DC. He likes to spit in people's faces and the Vice President apparantly likes to shoot people in the face. He's feeling real good tonight since he'll win the qualifying match and then the ladder match at Wrestlemania. After that, he'll do the one thing that Michael Jordan and no one else in Washington can do: bring home a championship. He says that is cool.

During Commercial: Carlito gets back in the ring from the outside and they grapple. Flair applies an armbar and brings Carlito to the mat. Carlito screams out 'No!' when asked if he wants to give up and reverses it into his own armbar. Flair shoves him into the corner and hits chops. An Irish whip leads to a back body drop and a two count for Carlito. Carlito hits shoulder blocks in the corner and then a few chops of his own (he even says "I can chop too, huh?") He hits a flurry of hard right hands and the crowd pops for Flair's falling down routine. Carlito rushes to get the pin and gets another two count. Flair hits a hard chop and whips Carlito into another chop. Flair hits a snapmare and a running knee drop on Carlito's face as we go back live.

During Commercial: The Spirit Squad comes out to new music, which basically has them introduce themselves before the fanfare starts. The squad jumps all around and they ask who has spirit. They all continue to jump around erratically and with little organization, telling Washington they have no spirit.
