ULTIMATE WARRIOR VS. WWE LEGAL UPDATE
On 10/26, The Ultimate Warrior's lawsuit against Vince and Linda McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment was referred to United States Magistrate Judge Edward C. Voss for a settlement conference. On 11/6, attorneys representing WWE's interests pulled out of the conference, noting that they believed the attempts to settle to be "premature" and "futile" at this point.
Warrior's parent company, Ultimate Creations Inc. filed a breach of contract suit against WWE last February based upon allegedly damaging statements made about Warrior on the company's "Self-Destruction of Ultimate Warrior" DVD, claiming that the DVD violated a previous legal settlement between the two parties.
