LIVE NOTES FROM LAST NIGHT'S RAW/ECW TAPING

Billy Krotchsen sent word that if you noticed part of the crowd distracted during the main event last night, a light on the WWE's rig began popping (sounding almost like a gunshot) and then began smoking. Randy Orton and the referee even turned to look and see what was making the noise. When the pops starts, the crowd got very quiet.

Ricky Olmsteadsent the following:

The show was really boring. I usually enjoy going to the live television WWE shows. But not this one. The Columbia 3 hour family reunion show I went to a couple months ago was a lot better. The show in North Charleston last night was just dull. Lots of low level talent was on the show last night. And way too much John Cena for me. The only match on RAW that was any decent length of time and any good was the 8 man main event. ECW also had one good match in the CM Punk & RVD vs Test and Hardcore Holly. ECW came off as dull. No more Paul Heyman writing the show which sucks because he is a great creative mind. Big Show leaving WWE will also hurt ECW. Many fans didn't even know or care about the ECW performers except RVD and Kelly Kelly which were over with the crowd.

On RAW, John Cena, DX, and the Hardys were way over with the crowd. The crowd was also heeling Edge and Randy Orton good. The arena was 3/4 full with most open seats behind the hard camera. No more WWE shows for me for a while. I would rather go to a TNA show. I tried to start a TNA chant as well as a Samoe Joe: Joe's gonna kill you chant but not many picked it up. TNA isn't as well known yet.

BIGGEST POPS:

1. John Cena (RAW)

2. DX (RAW)

3. Hardy's (RAW)

4. RVD (ECW)

5. Kelly Kelly (ECW)

HEEL HEAT:

1. Edge (RAW)

2. Randy Orton (RAW)

3. Matt Striker (beginning of ECW)
