Here’s a good rant u people would agree Censorship sucks. Its just one way the government is involving there self in are lives, and its wrong. Why are websites censoring there websites, I mean there’s no FCC for the Internet (yet). I mean what right does the government think they have telling us what’s appropriate and what’s not. And the corporate people are afraid of the FCC, but there is no FCC for the Internet yet. I mean it’s only a matter of time before they find away to censor the Internet. You people are saying that I think the government is out to get me, but that’s not it I think the government should deal with there own problems before they get involved with my life. There is little thing that America is going though it’s called the War in Iraq. They try to bring the troops home instead of how to censor T.V. And if they want to control us so much just put a fucking chip in my head and get it over with already. I think the government spent millions of dollars on the FCC, but Howard has to Satellite so there’s no one left to fine. PEACE

FCC won't get its hands on the internet cause it is a US government appointed body. But I agree it does suck, its just another way the government tries to control the mass public to their liking. Another way they try and get you to live your lives according to their outline. Same as drugs being illegal, patriot act, NSA wire taps, ect, ect.

I don't like censorship either; but in the long run, it's needed. Not neccessarily swearing, although swearing at people is aggressive and not really the best thing to teach, but violence is something that people of young ages shouldn't be exposed to. There's a reason why violent games and movies have age ratings, because it's unsuitable for people under that age group. For most people, it's a precaution that needs to be taken.

I think that its the parent of the kids fault that they do the crazy shit they do. Like if someone sues a person for soemthing their kid saw on Tv its not the persons fault for doing it, its the damn parents fault for letting the kid watch that stuff in the first place.
they just dont want to admit that its their fault that they didnt stop their child from watching and attempting the stuff.
Now im not trying to stab at jackass, but i remember a kid that tryed to catch him self on fire cause he saw them do it. and i dont really remember anything about suing or anyhting, cause im guessing that the parents understood that the kid was a dumbass and its his own doing that got his stupidass burnt in the first place.

well seeing as this thread has been dead 4 almost 2 years i thought i would reply. One thing i 4got 2 say 2 years ago is censorship on radio which is the worst cuz kids dont listen 2 radio these days some listen but most.
