Alaska, or A'laeska. by a long shot, is one of the biggest US state but one of the least populated too. it is one of the richest and racialy diverse states. Russia bought the land on april 16, 1867 and after 92 years, became property of the United States on January 3 1959. Alaska came from the word Alaskax(also spelled Alyeska) The capital of Alaska is Juneau and no roads connect to the city at all.
