UWF no longer promoting TNA house shows?
Just wanted to come on and update everyone on our plans for 2007.
For starters, everyone mark your calendars for February 2 and 3, 2007, as that will be our debut weekend in 2007. The Friday show will be held at The Bill Ellis Convention Center in Wilson, NC. The venue for the Saturday show will be finalized in the next week or so. Our plan is for tickets to go on sale next Saturday, December 30.
Just so everyone will have our dates, here is the tentative schedule through July:
February 2 Wilson, NC
February 3 TBA
March 2
March 3
April 20
April 21
May 11
May 12
June 1
June 2
July 19
July 20
July 21
We will announce more venues and markets as they are finalized.
As far as what you can expect from our shows in 2007, well expect them to be bigger and better than 2006.
We will not be running TNA "House Shows" in 2007, but will still be using the majority of TNA talent. This is better for both us and TNA, as TNA needs to start running their own house show dates which they will do some in 2007, and it will enable us to bring our fans the best of both worlds, which means we can offer TNA talent, but also many other wrestling stars from other organizations.
We will continue to use the unique 6 sided ring, which will also make it interesting to see some of the wrestlers we are using in 2007 inside that ring.
We have set a high standard for our shows in 2006, and with what we have lined up for 2007, you can expect more of the same. We look forward to entertaining our fans in the coming year.
