Velocity Results - 18th Mar 2006

Josh Mathews and Steve Romero welcome us to the show as we go down to ringside for the opening match.


Tatanka vs. Vito
Referee: Charles Robinson

The start:
Tatanka starts off with a hip toss and a chop to Vito's chest. He hits another and hits a dropkick. He chops Vito across the chest and whips him to the other turnbuckle. He kicks him in the stomach and then whips him across the turnbukcle again. Nunzio distracts Tatanka and Vito hits Tatanka from behind and suplexes him, goes to the top rope, and hits an elbow for the two count.

Mid-match notes:
Tatanka counters and whips Vito to the turnbuckle but Vito counters and splashes Tatanka from the second rope for a two count. He starts to choke Tatanka, but Tatanka does not give up. Vito goes for a legdrop, but Tatanka does moves out of the way. He hits a legdrop of his own and then hits a backbody drop.

The Finish:
Tatanka then hits the Tomahawk Chop but only gets a two count. He goes for another one but VIto kicks him in the stomach. The two get up and Vito and NunIo tries to get to the ring apron but Tatanka pushes Vito into Nunzio and then hits the Trail's End for the three count!

Winner: Tatanka


Gymini vs. The Mexicools
Referee: Nick Patrick

Dean says that his name is Simon Dean and that tonight we are in for a treat because the Gymini are the fittest specimins in the entire tag team divison, unlike the Mexicools because they eat too much burritos and tacos. Tonight they say that the Gymini will prove that the pattented Simon System works.

The start:
Psicosis and one Gymini guy starts off. Gymini shoves Psicosis and Psicosis hits a hurricanrana then goes for an arm drag but he doesnt budge. Psicosis tags in Crazy and Crazy hits the ropes but the other Gymini drags him out of the ring and clotheslines him. He throws Crazy off the turnbuckle and hits a suplex for a two count.

The Finish:
Psicosis goes for a roundhouse kick but the Gymini counter and as the referee is Distracted by Crazy they hit a flapjack manuver as Dean drags out Crazy, enabling the Gymini to get the three count.

Winners: Gymini


Number One Contender Match
Fatal Four Way
Paul London vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Kid Kash vs. Jamie Noble
Referee: Jim Korderas

The start:
Kash clocks Knoble from behind Knoble as the match begins. London and Kendrick double team both Kash and Noble as suddenly the two begin to lock as as well. Kash however takes Kendrick out of the ring and clotheslines him. Noble hits a legrdrop on London for a tow count.

Mid-match notes:
Kendrick hits a sunset flip on Kash for two count. Noble goes to pin Kash but London breaks the count. Noble applies a sleeper on Kash but then London hits a sleeper on Knoble.Kash and London then go at it as he slams London down on the canvas. Kash then kicks London but London counters and clotheslines Kash. The four wrestlers then hit a stack suplex as all four are now down on the mat! Noble covers Kash and London but doesnt get either of them. Noble chops London and hangs him up in the turnbuckle as Kash and Noble trade chops.

The Finish:
Kendrick then attacks Kash and goes for the Slice Bread #2 and but he counters and slams Kendrick down. London then dropsaults Kash out of the ring and oklahoma rolls Kendrick for the three count and London is the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship!
