Former WCW wrestler cast as Michael Myers for the upcoming Halloween remake

Mike Johnson reports that former WCW wrestler Tyler Mane, who appeared in the early 1990s for the company under the names Nitron and Big Sky, among others, has been cast as Michael Meyers for the upcoming Halloween remake being directed by Rob Zombie. Mane played Sabretooth in the first X-Men film and has appeared in various other films such as Joe Dirt. Rob Zombie's Halloween is set to be released on August 31, 2007.

Rob Zombie's last movie House Of 1000 Corpses was crap so I hope he doesnt ruin this remake. I dont remember Tyler Mane myself but this is what I found out:


Born Daryl Karolat & changed to Tyler Mane.
The Early 90s: Tyler Mane wrestled in World Championship Wrestling as "Big Sky" and regularly with Vinnie Vegas (Kevin Nash).
Tyler Mane played the role of "Sabretooth" in the 2000 motion picture "X-Men".
Tyler Mane also appeared in Joe Dirt, The Scorpion King, Troy, Hercules and Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects.

The lady in the pics is Woman who is Chris Benoit's wife & was Benoit's valet @ 1 time in WCW too.

Actually, his latest movie was The Devil's Rejects, released in '05, ad it was a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses.

I personally enjoyed both works, and I know a good plenty who had aswell. It's all subjective.

And I remember Nitron. He's not a horrible choice. Let's see if it's any good though.

I myself enjoyed BOTH of Rob Zombies movies(House of 1,000 Corpses,as well as its sequel,The Devils Rejects),and I while I like the choice of Tyler Mane,I also think that Rob will do what he can to pay "Homage" to the original movie.
