Alot of you may have noticed these spam posts popping up all over the place on the forum. They are annoying but with a great staff and great members informing the staff, they do not last very long, on average 5 minutes for most.
Alot of larger forums are being affected, we are not alone on this.
WARNING: Alot of these links lead to dangerous viruses. We advise you not to click on any of them.
Who are they?
I do not believe they are spam bots but maybe someone paying people to spam these websites. It happens alot on IRC and now it seems also forums. Ofcourse this is my opinion.
No need to inform us via a PM or email but maybe via the shoutbox and we shall deal with it ASAP. As of now there is nothing we can do about these spam posts with links but we are endeavouring to work on the problem.
