A rare OVW House Show title change occured, as Deuce & Domino "The Untouchables" captured the Southern Tag Team Championship at St. Therese Gym.

Referees: Goose Mahoney, M.B. Andrews, Ray Ramsee & Robert Brisko

(1) Mikey Batts beat "Platnum" Pat Buck with an enziguri.

Pat Buck, who does a funny Adrian Street/Rico gimmickwas announced as "The Erotic Erraticator" by OVW Announcer Ron Hed. Buck also comes out to Billy & Chuck's, as well as Rico's old theme song "You Look So Good To Me". Fits him perfect. Batts patiently tried to stay ahead of Buck's over-exaggerated feminine attack, and pinned buck after a series of near-falls. Good opener.

(2) "Highlander" Robbie McAllister beat "Silverback" Ryan Reeves.

Robbie got over with lots of body biting, and even did an old Nasty Boys "Pit Stop". Reeves, who does mostly power moves was pinned when McAllister reversed a Jackhammer attempt into a roll-up pin.

(3) Johnny & Jason Riggs defeated Aaron "The Idol" Stevens & Da Beast, when Johnny landed a splash off the ropes on Beast.

Beast & Idol (who came out to Slick's old theme song "Jive Soul Bro") complained in the mic about referee Goose Mahoney being a white ref. When Beast was corrected that the ref was not Mahoney, but referee M.B. Andrews, he still complained that the ref was white, and that there were no African-American referees in OVW. Late in the match, Beth Phoenix showed up, and forced Idol to return to the back with her. This left Da Beast alone with the Riggs Brothers, for a double Russian Leg Sweep, and the splash off the ropes for the pin.

Osama Rodriguez Alejandro, AKA: Big Lalo came to ringside holding up a sign that read "VOTE FOR LALO". For those who are not following OVW TV, Osama is petitioning to run for "Dictator of Los Kentuckos". He gave a hilarious speech in the ring where he said with his thick Cuban accent, "Ask not what jour country can do for jew... but what jew can do... for Big Lalo! Ha-haa!" Osama then introduced his tag team partners, Deuce & Domino, "The Untouchables".

Roadkill then came out, and for one of the first times I ever remember him speaking, he introduced his tag team partners, Trailer Park Trash & Kasey James. OVW house shows have become a great place for the wrestlers that usually don't get to talk on TV, to have fun with mic time in the ring. Roadkill did a surprisingly good job on the mic.

(4) Roadkill & Trailer Park Trash & Kasey James beat Osama Rodriguez Alejandro & The Untouchables (w/Cherry) when Trash hit a top rope leg drop on Osama.

Much of this match was spent with The Untouchables & Osama combing their hair like The Fonz, only to have their opponents mess their hair back up. Surprisingly, this drew a great deal of heat from the crowd.

After the loss, Osama promised Trailer Park Trash a big surprise when OVW returns to "Santa Theresa's" Gym on April 9. Osama went to the back, and left The Untouchables & Cherry alone in the ring. Deuce & Domino complained that what they really wanted was a title shot at the OVW Tag Champs The Miz & Chris Cage. Miz came to the ring wearing both OVW Tag Belts around his shoulders, and said he would defend them in a singles match against either Deuce or Domino.

(5) Deuce Shade (Jimmy Snuka jr.) pinned The Miz to capture The OVW Southern Tag Team Championship for The Untouchables.

Both men exchanged many near-falls in a surprisingly fast paced match, that went nearly 15 minutes. Keep in mind that this singles match immediately followed a six-man tag that went around 20 minutes. While Cherry distracted referee Robert Brisko, Domino came off the top with an elbow on Miz. Deuce ended up pinning Miz with his old "Deuce's Wild" finisher. The crowd didn't seem to believe that a title change had occured, until Ron Hed announced The Untouchables as the new OVW Tag Champs. Hed was at ringside doing match commentating for the title change along side a video camera, but it was unclear if this will be broadcast on OVW TV. Out of the few matches I've seen from The Miz, this was by far his best to date. Post-match saw the new champions attack a defeated Miz with one of cherry's roller skates.

(6) OVW Champion "Shooter" Brent Albright retained his title in a one-fall, Triple Threat match against C.M. Punk & Chet The Jet, when Albright pinned Chet.

In a funny scene, C.M. Punk came to the ring riding a bicycle around ringside. Chet The Jet came with his neck still in a brace due his neck "injury". Albright came out with his leather strap, which punk took away. Then punk stuffed the leather strap down his own tights, which referee Ray Ramsee reluctantly was obligated to remove. Extremely fast paced match, with many near-falls by everyone involved. Punk and Chet took turns attempting to pin the champ. Somewhere during the match, Chet lost his neck brace, which let to his neck taking a great deal of abuse. Finish came when Punk was tied in the ropes, Albright used a wicked looking released German Suplex on Chet for the pin. Great match that received a standing ovation from all the fans in the building. Even the wrestlers watching from the balcony dressing room were applauding.

Ron Hed announced that OVW returns to St. Therese Gym on April 9th.
