Former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd is being sued for £100,000 by the beauty contest's bosses, it has been reported.
A High Court writ has been served on the 22-year-old who is currently competing in the Celebrity Big Brother reality TV show.
Organisers claim she brought the beauty competition into "disrepute" by posing topless for Playboy magazine.
The model was stripped of her title in November after it emerged she was dating Premiership striker star Teddy Sheringham, one of the contest's judges.
Miss Lloyd had claimed her romance with the 40-year-old West Ham player blossomed after she was crowned.
But she later let it slip they were together before he voted for her, reports said.
The Miss Great Britain company is demanding compensation for breach of contract and "damaging" the reputation of the contest, The Sun said.
In the writ, the organisers said contestants were required to "comport themselves as ambassadors in relation to the beauty pageant".
They were banned from taking part in any topless or nude modelling during their reign as Miss GB.
Miss Lloyd, who won her crown last February, took part in a nude photoshoot which was published in last month's Playboy edition.
Bookmakers have given the model odds of 10-1 to win Celebrity Big Brother.
