ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - The Los Angeles Dodgers optioned infielder Oscar Robles and catcher Russell Martin to Triple-A Las Vegas Saturday night.
Outfielder Jayson Werth, recovering from surgery on his left wrist in November, was placed on the 15-day disabled list. It's the second straight year that he will start the season on the DL.
Right-hander Aaron Sele, who spent three seasons with the Angels and won a World Series ring with them in 2002, told the Dodgers on Saturday that he will accept an assignment to Triple-A Las Vegas. The team actually made the move on Wednesday, but gave Sele a few days to mull over his decision with his family.
