NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The New Orleans Saints traded veteran tackle Wayne Gandy to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday in exchange for safety Bryan Scott.
The Falcons also agreed to give the Saints a future conditional draft choice in exchange for Gandy.
Scott, who is entering his fourth NFL season, has started 35 of 47 career games at both safety and cornerback for Atlanta.
Gandy, who is 6-4 and 315 pounds, will be entering his 13th season and was signed by the Saints as a free agent in 2003.
