Chelsea star Ricardo Carvalho insists Manchester United will not catch them in their pursuit of the Premiership title.

United cut the gap on Chelsea to seven points with victory over Bolton last weekend to give them a bit of hope of catching Jose Mourinho's men.

However, Carvalho remains confident of seeing off United's challenge and retaining The Premiership crown.

"United are on a roll and doing well. But they don't have enough energy to be champions," Carvalho told The Sun.

"Even if United beat Arsenal this Sunday the title will still be Chelsea's.

"We have a big enough advantage to win it for the second consecutive year.

"We are the best team in The Premiership and we have shown this in the last two years.

"After going out of Europe our aim now is to get the Double.

"The league is practically in the bag and we also want the cup to show a lot of people who have criticised us that we are still the best."
