April 3rd: We want to thank everyone for an incredible triple shot in Detroit and Chicago. ROH reached a new attendance record last Saturday in Chicago with around 1700 fans. Around 3500 fans were in attendance for the triple shot. We will have lots of news coming out of the shows all this week right here in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire. April 3rd: Colt Cabana, coming off his huge victory last Saturday, will challenge ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson for the World Title on April 22nd in Philadelphia. We will look at the end of the Cabana and Homicide feud tomorrow including why there was a handshake and hug between Cabana and Homicide to end the intense blood feud.

April 3rd: The ROH wrestlers deserve all the credit in the world for delivering three show of the year quality events over the weekend. The ROH athletes put it all on the line each night and as a result the ROH locker room was looking like a warzone. The list of injuries from the weekend is extensive with BJ Whitmer suffering the worst injury with a severe ankle injury. We will know more about Whitmer's injury on Friday after he sees a specialist. Whitmer suffered the injury on Thursday night when he fell to the floor from the top rope and was in a cast and on crutches the rest of the weekend. To show you the sacrifice the ROH wrestlers make and how hard they work here is a list, in no particular order, of last weekend's injuries:

-BJ Whitmer has either a broken ankle or very severe sprain. It is not determined yet how much time he will be out.
-Colt Cabana suffered a broken nose and deep bruise on his cheek after a DDT on a ladder on Thursday.
-Homicide went to the hospital and needed stitches after Saturday's match.
-Austin Aries suffered a broken nose on Saturday.
-Samoa Joe banged up his shoulder on Saturday.
-Allison Danger suffered a black eye.
-Daizee Haze suffered a stinger and had problems moving her neck after Saturday's match.
-Roderick Strong twisted his knee during the weekend.
-CIMA suffered a busted lip on Saturday.
-Smash Bradley suffered a broken nose on Saturday.
-Matt Sydal had a blackened eye and other facial bruises after Friday.
-Jim Cornette's knee popped out on Saturday and he was unable to walk out of the building.
-Bryan Danielson's chest was blistered and he had a black eye after Friday.
-Adam Pearce suffered an ankle injury at some point in the weekend.
-Necro Butcher had his head split open by a BJ Whitmer chairshot on Thursday.

April 3rd: Our condolences go out to the friends and family of Victor Quinones.

April 5th: Things are heating up as ROH hits the conclusion of the Milestone Series on April 22nd in Philadelphia. ROH Video Recap #3 is now up at ROHvideos.com and it features an interview with Jim Cornette challenging John Zandig to show up and confront him face-to-face on 4/22. We haven't heard any response from the CZW side on this or who they will send (if they have the guts) to face Samoa Joe, Adam Pearce & BJ Whitmer. To entice CZW wrestlers to show up we are going to make it feel like a home arena as there will be bleachers opened up on both sides of the ring. The normal side will be for ROH fans and the other side will be for the CZW fans so they will have their own home section with a great view of the ring. Make sure to check out ROH Video Recap #3 to see Cornette's challenge plus highlights of KENTA including 3/25 in Manhattan vs. Samoa Joe & Bryan Danielson, Homicide vs. Mitch Franklin, Jimmy Jacobs much talked about ring entrance and more. ROHvideos.com also features the complete Jimmy Rave vs. Pelle Primeau match from 3/25 including the TP entrance.

April 5th: ROH is then gearing up for the huge return to Ohio. 4/28 in Dayton and 4/29 in Cleveland will be known as the "Weekend Of Champions" because every ROH champion will put the belts on the line on both shows. If there are any title changes on 4/22 (or in the case of Cleveland on 4/22 or 4/28) the announced cards will be modified to insure all the belts are on the line. Tickets for both events are now on sale at ROHwrestling.com, by calling 215-781-2500 and at Ticketmaster outlets.

April 5th: The first two matches have been signed for 4/28 in Dayton. ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness will return from Japan to put the belt on the line against Christopher Daniels!!! ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson will put the World Title up against the challenge of Jimmy Yang!!! More on these two big matches in the upcoming weeks.

April 5th: Two matches have also been signed for 4/29 in Cleveland. ROH Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong will face old enemies in Alex Shelley & Jimmy Rave of The Embassy with Prince Nana. In all the battles between Generation Next and The Embassy, this particular 2-on-2 match has never happened. Now Rave & Shelley are red hot after three wins in a row last weekend and they are ready to take the titles. Also signed for 4/29 is a huge rematch from last time in Cleveland. It will be Christopher Daniels vs. Matt Sydal. Last time it was a gut check as Daniels suffered a knee injury in the match. Now they are ready to collide when both athletes are 100%.

April 5th: Attention Florida Fans!!!!!! FIP returns to action this weekend. Clearwater, FL on Friday will feature a huge match pitting Roderick Strong vs. Jack Evans in a rematch of perhaps the greatest match in FIP history. Saturday in Crystal River, FL will see a huge FIP Heavyweight Title Match as Bryan Danielson defends vs. Jay Fury. Also signed for both nights will be Street Fights pitting Colt Cabana & Sal Rinauro vs. Steve Madison & Erick Stevens. Also in action will be FIP Tag Team Champions The Heartbreak Express with Sol Cal Val & Korey Chavis, Tony Mamaluke, Jerrelle Clark and more. Check FullImpactPro.com for more info. This will be your last chance to see Jack Evans in the United States for the next three months.

April 5th: Colt Cabana and Homicide surprised everyone by shaking hands and hugging after their violent Chicago Street Fight and even more violent feud last Saturday. It was an emotional end to ROH's first triple shot. If you look at what drove each man in this feud it is clear that a handshake and show of respect was the only way it could end. It started with Cabana making some jokes that Homicide took as disrespect. Homicide then attacked Cabana, but Cabana responded by escalating the disrespect with a rap about Homicide. The Rottweiler responded by turning up the violence to scary levels. Homicide tried to cut out Cabana's tongue, he tried to strangle him and then Homicide crossed the line by trying to kill Cabana by pouring Draino down his throat. This caused something inside Cabana to snap. He became a tortured soul that needed peace and for the feud to end. He was now faced with a fear for his life. He needed to defeat that fear as he crept closer and closer to insanity. Cabana could have run away, but instead he choose to fight that fear. No matter what Homicide did to him, Cabana kept fighting back and wouldn't die. Finally last Saturday in Chicago, Cabana defeated Homicide in a brutal match. It was Cabana's first win in the feud. Homicide's cohorts, Ricky Reyes & Julius Smokes, then jumped Cabana, but Homicide shocked everyone by making them stop the attack. Cabana had earned Homicide's respect for always fighting back and facing his fear. Homicide offered his hand and Cabana shook it. At that moment, Cabana had defeated his fear and earned the respect of his enemy. The feud was now over. Homicide got respect while Cabana got closure and peace. Both men brought out something special in the other. The fun loving Cabana is back, but we all know he now has this serious edge. Homicide has proven once again that he has honor. Could titles be in both men's future when Cabana challenges for the World Title and Homicide teams with Reyes to challenge for the Tag Titles on 4/22?

April 5th: If you want to be a wrestler there is no one better to learn from than the "Best In The World" as ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson is about to take over as head trainer of the school. The next class is getting ready to start. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for more info.

April 7th: A huge match has been signed for April 22nd in Philadelphia. You will see Christopher Daniels with Allison Danger vs. Claudio Castagnoli in a match that is sure to have huge ramifications on the Top 5 Rankings. Tickets are now on sale for this show at ROHwrestling.com, by calling 215-781-2500 and at Ticketmaster outlets.

April 7th: Lacey has added Jimmy Jacobs to the 4/22 Philly show.

April 7th: Delirious has secured his spot in ROH with his win last Saturday night. You will see Delirious on all future shows starting with 4/22 in Philadelphia. Can Delirious get a win streak going and move into the Top 5?

April 7th: BJ Whitmer's ankle is doing much better and Whitmer expects to be ready to fight whoever CZW brings to Philly on 4/22. We are beginning to think that Chris Hero and the rest of CZW don't have any guts as they have yet to answer the challenge of Whitmer, Samoa Joe and Adam Pearce.

April 7th: 2/25 Fourth Anniversary Show is now out on DVD and ready for immediate delivery from ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500. The DVD contains two special bonus videos featuring at least one highlight from every ROH show during its 4th year. You will also see an incredible night of action including: Roderick Strong & Austin Aries defend the Tag Titles vs. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal in a hard-hitting, athletic contest; Jack Evans suffers one of the most dangerous falls ever vs. Ricky Reyes; Bryan Danielson defends the World Title vs. Jimmy Rave in a classic; Homicide vs. Colt Cabana in a bloody and violent Ghetto Fight; Christopher Daniels vs. BJ Whitmer; Chris Hero, Necro Butcher & friends invade the show; Samoa Joe vs. Jay Lethal in a grudge match; Adam Pearce vs. Jay Fury vs. Azrieal vs. Claudio Castagnoli; Jay & Mark Briscoe return in a big way in a three way vs. Tony Mamaluke & Sal Rinauro vs. Jason Blade & Kid Mikaze plus more!!!

April 7th: ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson backed up his claim of being "The Best Wrestler In The World" with two grueling title defenses in front of ROH's record breaking crowds. Last Friday saw Danielson defeat Roderick Strong in a classic 56 minute contest that many fans thought would end in a 60 minute draw. Strong was very frustrated after the match as he felt he was about to become ROH World Champion. Danielson says that Strong will not get a rematch. Strong feels that he is one match away from solving the puzzle and beating Danielson. Strong has a point as the first meeting vs. Danielson went 37 minutes, the second contest saw Strong take Danielson to the 47 minute mark and now the third one saw Strong take Danielson even closer to the limit as they hit the 56 minute mark. Danielson showed his incredible conditioning when he defeated Lance Storm, who was in peak form after coming out of retirement, on Saturday. The Storm victory is even more impressive when you consider that Danielson's match on Friday ended just before 1am and his chest was blistered and he had a bruised eye due to Strong.

April 7th: Production began today on the 3/25 and 3/30 events. These shows will be part of the Milestone Series. The series will include the seven shows from 2/25 Fourth Anniversary Show to 4/22 100th show. The ROH production staff feels that it is very important to watch these seven shows in order as they go together like a sub-chapter in the history of ROH.

April 7th: The March 31st double DVD is shaping up to be the most epic home release in ROH history. The show can truly be called the Woodstock of wrestling as it is a long event that features a wide variety of styles and wrestlers. If the regular show isn't enough for you, there will be a bonus match taped at the FIP events this weekend. This is going to be an easy show of the year candidate.

April 7th: Christian's opponent for 5/12 in Long Island will be announced next week. We apologize for the fact that there are no 5/12 LI and 5/13 Edison, NJ announcements this week, but things have been very busy as we recover from the triple shot and begin production on all these great shows. We will have several matches for both events next week in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire.
