Craig Bellamy netted twice as Blackburn drew at Portsmouth, while Charlton's clash with Everton finished goalless and Sunderland's game against Fulham was abandoned.

Mark Hughes' Rovers led twice at Fratton Park thanks to goals from Bellamy, however they finished with only a point following a Pompey fightback.

Tresor Lomana Lua Lua cancelled out Bellamy's opener with Svetoslav Todorov's 78th minute header securing a share of the spoils.

The spoils were shared in the evening clash between Wigan and Birmingham as David Dunn emerged off the bench to secure a 1-1 draw at The JJB.

Wigan assumed control of the game shortly after the break when Andreas Johansson headed home only for Dunn to snatch a late share of the spoils.

There was little entertainment at The Valley as Charlton's clash with Everton finished with neither side finding the back of the net.

Sunderland's clash with Fulham lasted just 21 minutes before referee Mike Riley called a halt to proceedings due to appalling conditions on Wearside.

The Cottagers were leading thanks to Brian McBride's ninth minute goal, although his strike will not count with the game having to be replayed.

In the lunchtime kick-off, Tottenham bolstered their prospects of a fourth-placed finish following a 2-1 success over slumping Manchester City.

Goals either side of half time from Paul Stalteri and Michael Carrick set Spurs on their way before Stuart Pearce's side responded through Georgios Samaras.

City finished in the ascendancy, but failed to muster an equaliser resulting in their fifth consecutive Premiership defeat.

Tottenham 2-1 Manchester City
Charlton 0-0 Everton
Portsmouth 2-2 Blackburn
Sunderland Abandoned Fulham
Wigan 1-1 Birmingham
