Mickie's Time Off, Shane Drinks With Liddell, TNA Star To WWE, Styles Replaced?
When Jerry Lawler was given word he was going into the WWE Hall of Fame and asked who he wanted to induct him, he immediately said, "Lance Russell." Kevin Dunn got upset and tried to talk him out of it. Dunn then said to Lawler, "Nobody knows who Lance Russell is." Russell was a legendary professional wrestling announcer in the Memphis region from the 1970s through the early 1990s.
According to this week's Diva Dish on WWE.com, Mickie James plans on having a little bit of downtime later this month. In a few weeks she's heading down to Panama City Beach, Fla. for some rest and relaxation. Mickie said, "We have a little beach house down there. I'm taking my brother, who is 21, and some other friends. We're going to do it up. It's going to be huge. It should be pretty fun." Diva Dish also has items on Michelle McCool & American Idol, Lilian Garcia's shopping habits, Candice's sister, and even something on Vickie Guerrero.
The cover story of the April issue of “Men’s Fitness” is a feature on UFC star Chuck Liddell. In the article Liddell speaks about going out drinking with WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Media, Shane McMahon. Liddell said the following about Shane, "Man, that guy can drink like no one else I've met. And when it's me saying that, you know that's saying something."
Former TNA star A-1 (real name Alastair Ralphs) is expected to go to Ohio Valley Wrestling. He has the size WWE likes, so that's why he's getting his foot in the door. He doesn't have a WWE developmental deal just yet, but he's going to OVW in hopes of landing a contract eventually. He was recently released by TNA because they had nothing for him.
Chavo Guerrero's WWE contract will be expiring in a few months.
There has been some talk of making Todd Grisham the play-by-play man for ECW. This also indicates what people think of Joey Styles right now.
WWE is thinking about adding an authority figure to ECW. ECW writers Dusty Rhodes and Dave Lagana recently came up with a list of names for the role. Rhodes suggested that Paul Heyman briefly become the General Manager of ECW. He would get then get attacked by the New Breed faction, and he'd come back again as a babyface manager for the ECW Originals, and in particular, Rob Van Dam (with the idea that this would help keep RVD from leaving). However, Vince McMahon quickly shot the suggestions down. It was also suggested for Heyman to go down to OVW and DSW to book & teach promos, but it is believed that he turned that request down.
When Brad Armstrong was originally hired by WWE last September, the plan was for him to be an agent for ECW house shows. But the shows were canceled, so that was off the cards. They then tried him out as a color commentator, but that didn't work out either. They are now thinking about making him an agent again.

Mickie's time off is cuz WWE are pushing Melin and Ashley so they have nothing for Mickie which sucks for her coming up tp WM. RVD wont elave IMO and I wish theyd bring Heyman back. And Shane really wnts to start a MMA promotion doesnt he?
