If you've watched RAW in the past few weeks, they're doing commercials on fans of RAW and dubbed it the 'RAW Fan Nation'. The name is actually taken from the famed (Oakland) 'Raiders Nation' of football. The reason they're doing these commercials is because they want to break the stereotype that wrestling fans have. Because wrestling fans are considered to be "low-rent", they're only using beautiful women, people in the acting business, or guys with good professions for the commercials. Just this past week they had a doctor in one of the commercials. So basically, don't expect to see any "Average Joes" in future commercials because they want to break the stereotype that wrestling fans currently have. You can make an exception for 'Sign Guy'.

Eric Bischoff has posted up a new blog on his official website. He talks about recently filming a series of episodes for the 'Legends of Wrestling' discussion show they have on WWE 24/7. One of the subjects for the show was on "The Monday Night Wars." Bischoff doesn't go into great detail in regards to what was actually discussed, but he said that doing the show was a really enjoyable experience. Unlike the case with the WWE DVD on "The Monday Night Wars" that was released three years ago, the upcoming episode will give a really good representation of both sides of the war. The people at the roundtable (Jerry Lawler, Michael Hayes, Jim Ross, Mick Foley and Eric Bischoff) were encouraged to just be themselves and to be as honest about the subject matter as possible. The highlight of the upcoming episode will probably be when Bischoff and Mick Foley discuss the subject that is Tony Schiavone giving away the result of Mankind's title win on WCW Monday Nitro in January 1999. Schiavone said, "Now folks we already know what's going to happen on the other show. Mick Foley, who used to wrestle under the name Cactus Jack here, is going to win their title. That's who they are going to have as champion. Yeah, that'll put butts in the seats." Foley called Schiavone the next day to voice his displeasure and Tony said that Eric Bischoff told him to say it. In the episode Mick will describe his feelings on the subject, and talk about how much Bischoff's treatment of his "moment" bothered him. He talks about Foley and that particular subject in his blog.

WWE doesn't put up listings for WWE 24/7 programming anymore for some unknown reason. However, one of the cable providers that carry WWE 24/7 has a listing with the dates of what will get put up on WWE 24/7 this month.

Wow, I cannot wait for the roundtable discussion about the MNW with Foley and Bischoff. I remember when Schiavone said that on Nitro too, being that I was a Nitro watcher back in the day. WWE 24/7 rules!
