Just like Vince Russo, Dutch Mantell has a few "pet projects" of his own in Robert Roode, Eric Young and Abyss.
According to Wade Keller, Abyss always follows Mantell around backstage and is seen by some as his shadow.
Abyss has also rubbed some people the wrong way at times by always asking "how did I do" after every match and promo.
