View Full Version : Seperate Brands No More?

Since the PPV's are no longer brand exclusive there seems to be a move towards the old days when the brands were not seperate and storyline's continued over every show. This has been further pushed by the fact that Lashley, Kane, Khali, and MNM are on almost every show. Now, Kane and Khali are simply there because of the WM match between the two. But Lashley and MNM were jumping between brands long before the WM buildup. Hell MNM have been on almost every RAW and Smackdown! since December.

Now, is this the end of the brand seperation or wrestlers such As Lashley, Nitro, and Mercury the true young stars of the WWE. They are everywhere. And this is great since Nitro and Mercury can flat out wrestle (something the WWE badly needs) and Lashley can have matches with more than the small talent pool of ECW.

I would not complain if the seperation ended completely and actually believe that it would be better for the WWE. The top talent is spread much too thin between the three shows, leaving either recycled matches or developing talent getting airtime well before they are ready (Cryme Time, the Highlanders, etc). I would love to see HBK v Kennedy, CM Punk v Benjamin, or Edge v Taker.

three words.........the big nine.
cena, michaels, taker, edge, orton, HHH, batista, mysterio, lashley.

.....for now the whole joint PPV concept only applies to these superstars, and light adding of secondary stars like kane, kennedy, cm punk, and rvd.
