Dwayne Vincent denied murder
So Solid Crew rapper Megaman will face a third murder trial after an Old Bailey jury was discharged when new evidence came to light.

The 27-year-old of west London, real name Dwayne Vincent, denied allegations he urged Carl Morgan to shoot a man in revenge in Tooting, south London.

Morgan was jailed for life last year after being convicted of shooting Colin Scarlett in November 2004.

The judge said he must discharge the jury in the "interests of justice".

In the first trial, the jury was unable to reach a verdict.

'Sufficient relevance'

In the second, which started last month, the judge decided to discharge the jury as the defence's case was drawing to a close.

Judge Martin Stephens said: "Material and fresh information has come to light at a very late stage of the proceedings.

"I have concluded after the most anxious and careful consideration that this material is of sufficient relevance that it has to be investigated further and put before a jury."

The prosecution alleged Mr Vincent, of Barons Courts, encouraged his friend Morgan not only in his presence but through his words, to kill Mr Scarlett.

The revenge attack came after Morgan was beaten up by his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend Mr Scarlett, it was alleged.
