How competitive are you?
Your score = 10

What does your score mean?
You can't win 'em all - and, frankly, you think winning is overrated. You seem to be generally happy without the glory of being number one. You still may be extremely driven in certain areas of your life (your career, or social life), but competitiveness doesn't permeate your entire existence. You're able to step back and let others bask in the spotlight, and don't go to extreme lengths to ensure you stay at the top. This could mean that you are so self-confident that you don't need to draw attention to your every success and judge yourself by your own standards, or you simply don't need all that glory. Hopefully, however, you're not selling yourself short - a little bit of competitive spirit can give you the get-up-and-go you need to go after what you want.

According to your answers to the test questions, you love to be the best. You crave the thrill of being numero uno, whether it's in your career, with family or in relationships. A little bit of competitiveness is healthy and even necessary to get ahead in life…but when it's overdone it can drive others away as fast as you can say "hip hip hurray!". Everything in life is not meant to be a contest - imagine, for example, what would happen if we were all going for the jugular 100% of the time. The streets would be Indy races and you'd have to participate in a wrestling match just to get in line at the supermarket. There is a time and a place for everything, and you may want to examine whether you're crossing the line between healthy competitiveness and outright cutthroat aggressiveness. Remember, it's not if you win or lose, but how you play the game!
