Voice of Wrestling Interview with Ivory
Ivory joined the program joking about the name, "Ivory", being used to describe her, saying that McMahon would come after Chris. However, that reminded Chris of a conversation he had with Lisa after she was "let go" from the WWE. Chris had called Lisa to find out what happened and at the time, she said it wasn't what it seemed and that she wasn't really let go completely. She was still going to work with WWE in some capacity. "Maybe I was doing wishful thinking," Lisa responded about why she might have said that. She then said to put yourselves in Kevin Dunn's shoes, who had the job of sitting her down and releasing her. She said that he broke it to her easy saying that if Tough Enough came back around or something else came up, she'd be back. Lisa claims that might have been why she denied the firing at first.

Being released as become a new beginning for Lisa as she's never experienced independent wrestling. She was always a TV wrestler. She loves the fact that "families" actually come on to the indies because it's cheap enough, clean enough, and still very exciting. You don't have to be "embarrassed as a wrestler" to be apart of it, says Lisa. Chris interprets that as a blessing in disguise and she agrees. Lisa says she doesn't think she could survive being a woman in the WWE. "The direction is so far from what I think of sports entertainment as being," Lisa explains, "it's not entertaining to me". She also continues by saying it's not necessarily the men's matches because those are good. She says both shows - Raw and Smackdown! - are going in a decent directions as a whole, "except for the women".

Lisa carries on by saying she would never bring her nieces and nephews to a WWE show because the image of women are not what she wants to them to think of at all. All young people should be able to enjoy going to WWE and wrestling, in general, but that's not how it is there. She mentions Tommy Dreamer and how he'd say he loved going to the matches with his dad when he was younger. "Why would we take that away from any kid because their parent is afraid to bring them to our show," she asks, "because it's nasty. [loud screech goes here]". She then compares the independents again saying that it's family fun and 100 percent entertainment.

Lisa then asks Whicker - special guest co-host - what he was doing in the late eighties. She asks because she's re-releasing footage of POW - a women's promotion in the eighties - that she owns. She's been doing interviews with many of the featured women during that time and will be putting it together with all the footage she has, including promos, matches, and out takes. Lisa claims that all these women at that time, including Bambi and Peggy Lee Leather, wanted to be "wrestlers" and they did it their entire lives. This DVD footage will feature them in the light that they should be, according to Lisa.

TNA came up and Lisa said that there's a "void" to fill as it pertains to a women's division. There's never been any question in her mind, or anyone she's talk to either, that there is interest in women's wrestling matches on a card. She likes it best when it's a "variety card" where there's big muscle men, fat guys, little midgets, beautiful women. Lisa then recalls the time Victoria came down to the ring and cleaned house on all the "bimbo girls" (although Lisa stresses she doesn't mean 'bimbo' on a personal level - just in the part WWE has them play) from the Diva Search contest and how the crowd popped. She believes the fans miss the action. Now, you look at Victoria backing Candice Michelle because "Candice Michelle doesn't know how to do nothing, but where does that put Victoria," Lisa says. She believes the fans want to see the Victoria's of the company be spotlighted.

Lisa wraps up discussing the comparison of men and women in wrestling, but specifically the WWE. She wishes the women could have more time because it always boils down to 'who can put butts in the seat', but Lisa whole-heartedly believes that women do that exactly if given the chance. Nowadays though, women are placed in a "little box" in the corner and if you play the game as well as Trish, you may escape, have one person attached to you, and that's a pay per view. Lisa also says you can pose for Playboy and that gets you "a month of glory of spreading your cooch for millions to see and you'll never, ever live down those shots". That route, Lisa claims, will follow you for the rest of your live and get in your way of many opportunities that may come your way in the future. "That's big business and hey, what do we know about that, right? We're the little guys that like to entertain people, aren't we," asks Lisa in closing.

Quite a good interview with one of my favorite former wwe divas Ivory.Iam quite suprised that she has not signed for TNA as she was always a great in wring wrestler and could really help them with their Womens division..
