BEIJING (AP) - England's David Lynn had nine birdies in a 5-under par 67 Friday to take the lead after two rounds at the China Open.

Lynn had four consecutive birdies starting on the second hole, and finished at 9-under 135.

Zimbabwe's Marc Cayeux shot a 65 and was stroke back at 8-under, along with Portugal's Jose Filipe Lima (69) and Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng (67).

Scott Drummond of Scotland and Rahil Gangjee of India were two shots back, together with overnight leader Christian Cevaer of France.

England's Paul Casey, who won the tournament last year, kept himself in contention with a 4-under 68 and was tied for finish.

World No. 13 Henrik Stenson of Sweden, the highest ranked player in the European-Asian Tour co-sanctioned tournament, shot a 68 to make the cut.
