Vince McMahon appeared yesterday on the Fox News Network's World Today with Neil Cavuto to promote Wrestlemania 23 and the hair vs. hair stipulation with Donald Trump. Highlights included:

McMahon said that he can't stand arrogant, pompous billionaires that hang around with beautiful women and have a full head of hair that believe they are better then everyone else simply because they have more money.

Cavuto asked how serious the stipulation actually was. McMahon responded, "It's as real as we want it to be." He said mother nature is catching up with Donald Trump and Trump will have to decide at some point whether to keep taking the criticism over his hair or to shave his head so he doesn't have any to be criticized about. McMahon said he was going to help Trump along with the head shaving.

Cavuto said they were both "brilliant businessmen" and that Vince saw money in professional wrestling long before anyone else did. He said McMahon was a great marketer but in the end, neither will be getting their head shaved. McMahon responded, "No you are wrong about that. We made a guarantee. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the guest referee and he guarantees, and I'm sure he'll live up to his guarantee."

Cavuto pointed out Wrestlemania falls on April Fool's Day and said they could throw the whole idea out as a joke. McMahon said you can't do that to the audience. "Once you promise something to your audience, you have to deliver."

Cavuto asked McMahon how WWE even got Trump interested in working with the company. McMahon said that Bonnie Hammer with the USA Network suggested doing something on Monday Night Raw, throwing out the idea of using Trump. Trump was asked and noted he's done things in the past with McMahon (Wrestlemania 4 and 5, to start), so he said they could figure something out. "One thing led to another and now you have the clash of these two egos", McMahon said.

Cavuto noted that "wrestling has come back" and that it was "hurting for a litle bit." He asked if it will ever have the luster it's had in the past. McMahon said WWE, "is part of the mainstream fabric of Americana. We have our highs and lows but every low is a little less lower and every high is a little bit higher. It's cyclical and it's been building every nicely through the years. I think that we're ready now to achieve yet another peak in our business."

McMahon said Wrestlemania would be fun and that's what WWE is all about.
