BRITISH pop star George Michael crashed into three cars while trying to park his four-wheel drive in London, the Daily Mirror reported today, quoting witnesses.
Police confirmed that three parked cars had been damaged over the weekend and that the 4WD had been found but said the driver had not yet been identified.
The anonymous witnesses quoted by the tabloid said they had recognised George Michael.
The paper said a representative of the singer had tried to contact the car owners yesterday to reimburse them for the damage.

The 42-year-old former Wham! singer, whose hits include Careless Whisper and Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, was taken into custody in central London in February on suspicion of possessing drugs after being found slumped at the wheel of a car.
