- The WWE DVD Board Game 2nd Edition is now on sale at Target. In conjunction with selling it, they are offering fans $5 off the game if it's bought at Target.
- IGN made note that the next SmackDown! Game will be made by THQ, and will be available on DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, and X360.
- Cablevision has the following description for this year’s Backlash Pay-per view:
"Rivalry and rage explode in controversy as ECW and Smackdown join RAW at Backlash. Catch the intensity as John Cena, Batista, Undertaker, RVD and Lashley face the consequences of their actions from WrestleMania."
