If you mean the WWF, and not WWWF here are some highlights:

Vince Jr. aquired the WWWF from his father, and renamed the company to World Wrestling Federation..
Vince Jr. began signing wrestlers away from different territories as well as buying up smaller territories..
Vince's biggest asset was Hulk Hogan, who he stole away from Verne Gagne's AWA, and ran wild with Hulkamania..
Vince McMahon and the WWF also single-handedly created a market for Wrestling Pay Per View events..
The World Wildlife Fund takes the World Wrestling Federation to court over the rights to the "WWF" initials in Europe..
~~~The end result had Vince changing the name of his company to World Wrestling Entertainment..

Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy fought in a ladder match to unify the Intercontinental and Hardcore Championships. RVD won. They did the same thing with the European Championship.

I believe so. Flair I think used that name to incite a match with him in 77/78 and I think there was 1 match and Flair won so Roger's put him over so i guess like a pass of the torch if you will.

Regarding the IC title. It may have been 1999 or 2000 but didn't Edge win the belt on a house show only to lose it the following night on a PPV or something along those lines?

If so was there a story behind it, i.e champion injured or was the house show in Edges hometown or something like that?

He had a Development contract with WWE and had to drop the CZW Tag titles but I believe he was released before ever wrestling for them except for the backstage stuff etc.

Omg seriously lol well hmm try and think here at least once in 89, 90 and 91 and again in 1993. Nitro in 95/1999. At World War 3. Clash of Champions 1988/1994. Nitro in 96. The last ever Nitro probably soon in TNA.

All I can think right now but i'd say maybe around 15 times.

The Vader/Sting feud from WCW is a must watch. They had an awesome Bull Rope match back in the late 80s or early 90s I think. Some of his best stuff was in fact from WCW in WWF he pretty much squashed everybody without having a memorable feud lol
