ANOTHER FORMER WCW/WWE WRESTLER RETIRES AND MORE

Former WCW and WWE wrestler Chris Kanyon officially announced his retirement from wrestling in his latest blog entry. Kanyon has worked occasional indies since being let go by WWE and claimed that happened because he was gay. There has never been any tangible evidence to back up his claim. In fact, I know that WWE creative tried a few different ideas to let him keep his spot while he was there, including the dredging up of the old Mortis gimmick. In the end, I think it was his inability to do WWE style promos that led to him being let go by the company. Now at 37 years old, he says he is ready to move into the next phase of his life.
