Microsoft has just annouced that the Beta for the highly awaited sequel to Bungies Halo series will be going live on May 16th at 1pm GMT and run through to June 7th at 7:59am GMT. Three maps will be available for the Beta test and are as follows Snowbound, High Ground and Valhalla.
New guns and vehicles available for the beta include the Mongoose all terrain vehicles, Brute Spiker, Spike Grenade, all-new Assault Rifle and the Spartan Laser.
Microsoft gave gamers three ways to access the beta, the only remaining way is by purchasing 'Realtime World's' Crackdown.
Also a new behind the scenes video documentary is planned to hit Xbox Live today.
