World Wrestling Entertainment have announced that Ashley Massaro will undergo surgery to repair a screw in her ankle plate that has loosened.
Massaro, who has been enjoying her biggest push since signing with WWE as a result of her recent photoshoot for Playboy magazine, had the plate inserted last year after fracturing her tibia and fibula. On last night’s edition of Smackdown, we saw Massaro being attacked by Jillian Hall to give a storyline reason for why she’ll be off TV.
At time of writing, no dates have been given on when Massaro will be returning to the ring.
