I just got back from the Springfield, Missouri TNA house show. It was a great show with maximum effort by TNA. The 3,000 person Shrine Mosque had a lot of empty seats, and the crowd looked about 800-1,200 people.
Here is the basic results:
Eric Young defeated Alex Shelley
Two local jobbers teams fought, and they had a great tag match actually.
Chris Sabin retained his X Division Champion against Black Machismo, Sonjay Dutt, and Senshi in an Elimination match.
Team 3D defeated VKM in a match that wasn't scheduled. It was originally VKM vs. The Naturals.
Gail Kim & Chris Harris defeated James Storm& Miss Jackie Moore
Rhino defeated AJ Styles
Samoa Joe beat Abyss
For the NWA World Title, Christian Cage retained against Kurt Angle
A solid show by TNA Wrestling. You could tell they put a lot of effort into this house show, unlike WWE. WWE house shows have always been bland, and the wrestlers treat it like another night on the road. TNA had fun with it, and made it entertaining and exciting. Great pop's for Black Machismo, Eric Young, Team 3D, Samoa Joe, and Kurt Angle. And Harley Race was in audience, and Jeremy Borash brought him to the ring at one point.
Sounds like alot of fun, I still have to get used to the name Black Machismo lol but I'm sure it'll work out well :)
