It was being reported yesterday that Sabu had signed an official contract with WWE to wrestle for the ECW brand, however at this point that statement is premature.
Sabu is one of the many former ECW talents that have at this point only verbally agreed to wrestle for the company. No contract signings as of yet have officially taken place, nor has the company even sent out the contracts to be signed. This news is considered formality, but it is quite possible that he could be at the RAW taping next Monday in Columbus, OH.
It is also possible that WWE could be debut the ECW angle next Monday as well after the Backlash PPV. There is also the possibility that he may not be in Columbus this Monday to speak with WWE. If that is the case he could be speaking with the WWE officials about the new ECW.
