TNAWrestlingNews.com got word yesterday that Austin Starr/Aries had been talking about requesting a release from TNA, but we can not confirm this at this time.
There is no word on if he asked for his release and was not granted it or if he even asked for it at all but he had been thinking about his future over the weekend.
Starr/Aries was suspended from TNA for 90 days for a bad attitude several weeks ago. Also, two of the outside groups he worked for, ROH and PWG, are no longer using TNA talents.
Well it is indeed a choice to make for Aries and I think perhaps TNA acted wrong on suspending him now that ROH is getting a PPV deal and looks more attractive to wrestlers like Aries. (and maybe Homicide and Senshi)
