Smackdown head writer Michael Hayes doesn’t consider Chris Benoit a main eventer due to his weakness in cutting promos.

I do agree the weakness in promos, but why should that hold him back of being a main eventer.

You know what that means...it's time for Benoit to change shows again!

It means that Benoit stays in this position pushing younger talent up to new heights like he has done with MVP and others in hos career this isn't a knock against benoit but merely an admiration for his skills to help upgrade the younger greener talent teaching them the tools of the trade to be really sucessful in this business for years to come.

thats funny coming from a guy who couldn't even main event a tag-team!
Hayes was a great personality back in his day,and the Freebirds will always be remembered for their feuds against the Von Erichs,BUT,Michael Hayes was nothing more than a flamboyant trash talker!
His wrestling skills weren't even close to what Benoits are.
Just becasue a guy doesn't cut a "great" promo doesn't mean he's not main event material.
Yes it helps, but in some cases not nessacarily needed
Case in point:Bill Goldberg! His promos were 2 words long, and that guy was a HUGE main event draw!
