UFC Confirms Negotiations With Kurt Angle

UFC President Dana White made it clear to the media yesterday that TNA start Kurt Angle is talking with the company and is serious about a MMA Debut.

Angle has been talking about it ever since he left WWE last fall, but it now appears his MMA debut is actually getting closer than ever to happening.

White noted that he feels that Kurt would need at least six months of training before the debut would happen, but none-the-less he would make a great fighter. We will certainly have more on this as we get it!



i think kurt shouldn't even consider having a mma fight as it is much physical than professional wrestling and he could easily get a serious neck injury

That was when he was 12 years younger and, with the exception of his vertebrae fractures, entirely healthy. He is much older, much slower, much more senile and much more prone to injury today. If he went in to the cage today, against anyone even half ass decent, he would get ktfo or worse.

I completely agree with you. Angle is going to be in some other guys highlight reel for sure.

Kurt Angle can make it into pro-wrestling. But there is no way in hell he can ever compete with anyone from UFC, Pride, Bodog, etc.....he is gonna get his a$$ kicked if he considers fighting in MMA

I still think he is going to do it if the money is good for him and I bet the money would be good for UFC too because it would create a buzz and people would pay up to see Kurt Angle vs Anyone :D I would
