Due to the incredible lack of depth on the heel side of Raw's women division, it kind of forces Melina to be focused on because they don't really have any other options. Also, Melina has a better personality and gets more heat from the audience than Victoria, which explains why she gets the nod over her. Melina is kind of like the female version of Randy Orton in a way because the depth issue forces her to be focused on.

The number hasn't officially come out yet (it will in about two weeks), but company sources are saying that there was "significant disappointment" in the buyrate for last month's Backlash pay-per-view. Considering that it was promoted as a three-brand show, they were expecting a lot more buys than whatever number they got.

The recently released Shelly "Ariel" Martinez has just been added to next Saturday's Wrestling Reunion 5 convention show in Carteret, New Jersey. Visit WrestlingReunion.com for more details. Other females appearing at this event include Kimberly Page, Madusa, Christy Hemme, Gail Kim, Jacqueline, Ivory, Missy Hyatt, April Hunter, and last but not least, the one and only Nicole Bass, who is believed to be a female

i'm not surprised that there could be a low buy-rate for backlash as the wwe title match and the world title matches were the only matches that at least looked like they were going to be good matches

WWE Pay Per Views just aren't suprising anymore. Thats kind of it. Maybe fans are saying 'We no longer wanna watch matches like Bobby Lashley vs Vince and Cena vs Khali'.

I agree. All we really have now is championship matches, whereas in the past there was decent feuds and matches that didn't involved a championship.
