Hijo del Santo announced today that he would be taking an 11-day tour of Spain along with Scorpio Jr. and would leave on 6/18 to work exhibition matches like he has done in the past in the United Kingdom. Santo said that he is lucky that he still gets the amount of work he does in Mexico due to his falling out with Paco Alonso but he always has time for other countries especially new ones that he hasn’t been to like Spain. Santo said that being an independent contractor without the advantage of television is helping him in his opinion because if fans want to see him work then they would have to buy tickets because he won’t be on TV. Santo said that when he returns to Mexico from his tour that he will be doing promotional appearances in department stores where he will be pimping his new clothing line called “Santologia” and that he would still be doing his radio and TV spots along with a tour of the southern United States in July.
