How does everyone feel about the guy? He's receiving a MAJOR push only because Dusty(his dad) is a backstage power. The guy has the talent but needs more experience and I find it unfair that he's getting non-stop wins and a push just because he's an important person's son. They are wasting good talent like Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas etc. to just job to him when they could be in better feuds and they are more experienced. Please give your thoughts on him.
daivari is not exactly a main eventer neither was WGTT its not like he is getting santino marella treatment
Yeah I know Daivari and WGTT aren't like top people but why must a person who 'could' be a jobber beat people who are better? I know Dusty is giving him a push and it's unfair while others who are more deserving aren't.
in case you havent noticed shelton benjamin and charlie haas are jobbers now but shelton benjamins luck may be changing
Shelton is going to get pushed so that won't be a problem. I like Cody but he can ride this wave so long until he has to make his own character or the fans will turn on him. I think Cody would be more valuable on Smackdown because it seems Smackdown has turn into the breeding ground for young talent to really develop. Example:Kennedy,Cena,MVP(still is on SD!)Cody and Kenny Dykstra could the real deal I don't know but I agree about the part that he shouldn't be getting over with WGTT
I'm not real high on him but I don't see anything wrong with trying to push young talent. The WWE has to build from some where. He's also getting more of a push because of who is dad is. I say who cares as long as he gets better as time goes on.
Yeah, the SD! suggestion is good. He looks like he'd do well on SD!
Well all I can say is that this is one of the things that happen in the business. With a dad like Dusty Rhodes, I would expect nothing less than for Cody to get pushed in the WWE. He will get better over time, but at this point he is still a young talent and my only hope is that the WWE doesn't rush him. I say good luck to the young man.
The best thing they could do for this kid is to take him off of Raw. He does need to go to ether SD or ECW. Also IMO he could use some more time in OVW.
i've got no problem w/ him beign pushed even if i think he's nothing great to watch. i HATE the way he sells! if just looks and sounds so damn fake! regardless, he's got a pedigree (dusty and dustin are both legends) and, as i'm sure most of you know, wrestling loves nothing more than to push '2nd and 3rd generation superstars'.
i DO agree he'd be better off being on smackdown. i think raw is a little too rough a show for him. he'd do good to be somewhere with a bit slicker, more family friendly production plus i'd love to see them try a real cocky tag team combo of rhodes and kenny dykstra. not sure if it'd work but i think both of them kinda have that 'young, cocky' look to them and it just might work.
